Sidera Unveils its New Branding

New York – November 7, 2012 —Sidera Networks, the premier provider of high-performance networks for mission-critical applications, today unveils new corporate branding including a new logo, website, and more sophisticated, streamlined messaging. The new corporate look and feel is tightly aligned with the company’s focus on delivering network solutions to large enterprise, carrier, and data center customers especially in how these customers connect to cloud services and access or distribute content.

Sidera has close to 20 years of experience in providing and delivering high-capacity network solutions to verticals such as financial services, healthcare, education, content, media, government, research, and carriers located throughout its footprint. Since January 2012, the company has substantially expanded its network reach to provide value to this customer base:

  • The company is connected to approximately 125 data center and colocation facilities in its footprint and has cultivated strategic relationships with major data center providers located in metro areas such as Ashburn, VA, New York City and Chicago, IL. This has greatly expanded the company’s involvement in cloud services connectivity, back-up and recovery applications, and content distribution.
  • Sidera’s Xtreme ultra-low latency, high capacity network was fortified throughout New York and Chicago and low latency links were added to Toronto, ON and London, UK to provide customers with access to international exchanges. This network continues to be the foundation of financial services trading infrastructure carrying trillions of dollars in trades each day.
  • Sidera also finalized and delivered its Transcom Route between Ashburn, VA and the NY Metro providing the first high-capacity connection that is fully-diverse from the congested I-95 communications corridor. This route has become an important alternative option for the content distribution and cloud services market.
  • Most recently, the company began construction on a new statewide Virginia Network that will provide additional connectivity to key verticals including government and educational institutions in Virginia and North Carolina.

“In the past year, we have taken Sidera beyond its traditional service capabilities, expanding, enhancing and delivering proven high capacity solutions to major global organizations,” comments Clint Heiden, President of Sidera.  “The capabilities of our company are accentuated and reflected by our brand.  Our new corporate identity and messaging is clear, sharp and sophisticated, all of which are key attributes of the services we deliver.”

“Re-defining a company’s brand starts with a clear vision and go-to-market strategy for the organization,” adds Joe Cumello, Vice President Marketing for Sidera.  “Our management team delivered a strong strategic and operational foundation, and our marketing group translated this foundation into an overall identity that exemplifies the new Sidera.”
