Level 3 Provides Data Center and Security Solutions to Ballerina Laboratories

Enables healthcare and hygiene products manufacturer to share

Santiago, Chile, October 30, 2012Level 3 Communications, Inc. (NYSE:LVLT, news, filings) today announced that Ballerina Laboratories, a healthcare and hygiene products company, will rely on Level 3’s data center and security solutions to optimize the performance, security and availability of its IT infrastructure.

Ballerina, based in Santiago, Chile, needed a service provider that could enable accelerated performance for its operations in order to meet the high demand for the company’s products in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.
