French classified advertising specialist ensures security and resilience of its IT infrastructure with TelecityGroup
Figaro Classifieds, a leading French classified advertising specialist, has selected TelecityGroup, Europe’s industry-leading provider of premium carrier-neutral data centres, for the colocation of its primary IT infrastructure. The company will use TelecityGroup’s Condorcet and Energy Park facilities in Paris to ensure the resilience and security of its website and back-office infrastructure.
Figaro Classifieds – a subsidiary of the Figaro Group – provides web, print, and mobile media solutions across its well-known brands in three main business areas: employment (including the Cadremploi, Keljob, Cadresonline and Le Figaro Economie brands); training (including Kelformation and Le Figaro Etudiant); and real estate (including Explorimmo, Explorimmoneuf, Le Figaro, Propriétés de France and Immovision). In order to meet the stringent requirements of its Business Continuity Plan (BCP), Figaro Classifieds chose to host its high density equipment in two secure and highly-connected TelecityGroup data centres that are 10 km away from each other.

Figaro Classifieds is utilising its equipment in the two TelecityGroup sites in an active-active mode, ensuring an extremely high level of redundancy. Additionally, the facilities’ certification to international quality standards – including ISO 27001:2005 for information security management, ISO 9001:2008 for quality management and ISO 14001:2004 for environmental management – demonstrates the premium nature of the underlying infrastructure.
