Windstream responds to Oklahoma charges

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Windstream Corp. (NYSE:WIN, news, filings) today denied bribery and conspiracy allegations contained in an indictment returned by an Oklahoma grand jury. The allegations stem from a customer event that Windstream hosted at the 2007 NCAA Final Four men’s basketball championship for business customers, including the Broken Arrow School District.
