Zayo and Stackpop Form Partnership

LOUISVILLE, Colo. – June 21, 2012 – zColo, a Zayo Group company, announces its formal agreement with Stackpop, an online marketplace for Internet infrastructure. Utilizing Stackpop’s services, zColo can now reach a breadth of potential customers through Stackpop’s web-based portal connecting operational professionals with data center and colocation providers.

Stackpop provides buyers the ability to access a global inventory of Internet infrastructure through a single online source. Beyond identification of infrastructure providers, customers can order, negotiate and sign an MSA with their ultimate provider in minutes.

zColo, an interconnect-focused colocation infrastructure provider, has made its  inventory for all facilities available in the Stackpop database. zColo currently operates 13 facilities that span from Los Angeles to New York and, as a carrier-neutral provider, offers connectivity options to 914 networks across all facilities. Following the acquisition of AboveNet, slated for completion in the middle of 2012, zColo will operate 20 facilities in key interconnect-focused Carrier Hotels and Data Centers, and the incremental inventory will be available through Stackpop shortly after close.

“We are excited to partner with zColo due to their extensive US footprint and rock-solid reputation. Not only does zColo provide a top-notch product, but they also operate the Meet Me Room (MMR) at 60 Hudson in Manhattan, which is one of the most important interconnectivity facilities in the world,” states Jason Evans, CEO of Stackpop.

“We understand the desire for customers to compare providers and facilities and purchase their global Internet infrastructure through a consolidated tool.  Given zColo’s presence in North America’s key Data Center facilities, we feel Stackpop is an ideal place to present our network depth,” states Chris Morley, President of zColo.
