AboveNet to Deliver Internet Connectivity to Internet Unie

White Plains, N.Y. and London, April 16, 2012, — AboveNet Inc., (NYSE:ABVT, news, filings), a leading provider of high bandwidth connectivity solutions, today announced it will provide Internet Unie with high speed internet access connections at Switch Datacentre in Amsterdam. The AboveNet solution provided is tailored to the ISP market and part of their compelling ISP portfolio.
Internet Unie is AboveNet’s first customer in Switch Datacentre, a new Tier 3 data centre in the Netherlands and will provide connectivity for their Internet and cloud services. AboveNet will provide optical infrastructure to support Internet Unie’s business needs by delivering fast, reliable premium connectivity that serves the data-intensive, mission critical applications that are accessed by Internet Unie’s customers.
Internet Unie is an independent provider of hosting and data centre services and has grown into one of the biggest Windows business hosting providers in the Netherlands. By utilising AboveNet to provide ISPs with high bandwidth connectivity, Internet Unie will have a cost effective remedy that is hugely scalable to meet future customer demands.
