OXYCOM Selects BroadSoft to Power First Cloud Delivery Platform in Poland

Cloud computing pioneer leverages BroadWorks to deliver comprehensive, affordable communications services to a variety of customers

GAITHERSBURG, MD, February 7, 2012 – BroadSoft, Inc. (NASDAQ:BSFT, news, filings) today announced that OXYCOM S.A., a Poland information and communications technology (ICT) provider, has selected the BroadWorks® voice application platform for its cloud-based comprehensive unified communications services to businesses of all sizes.

OXYCOM S.A. provides a broad portfolio of cloud-based, unified communications services for residential and business customers. With the new BroadWorks-enabled offering, budget-constrained service providers and resellers will be able to leverage the OXYCOM cloud-based platform to reduce expenses associated with internal infrastructure build-outs and quickly bring to market advanced voice and unified communications services – including high definition audio and video conferencing and messaging – to enterprise customers in Poland.

While it can take traditional, premise-based solutions providers several months or even years to bring new products and services to market, OXYCOM relies on BroadWorks’ flexible, open platform to offer cloud-based unified communications services on demand to fixed-line, mobile and Internet service providers, as well as other partners and resellers. In turn, these providers can quickly and easily brand and customize a wide range of communications services for their business and residential customers.

“As we extend our cloud communications services to the enterprise and residential markets in Poland, it was clear BroadWorks was the optimal platform due to its openness, reliability and ability to seamlessly integrate applications and communications services,” said Piotr Mazurkiewicz, President of the Board, OXYCOM S.A.

“We are excited to support OXYCOM in providing its service provider customers with new voice and multimedia capabilities to an enterprise market that is increasingly shifting to cloud-based communication services,” said Leslie Ferry, vice president marketing, BroadSoft®. “We continue to work with market-leading providers like OXYCOM who are committed to communications services that enhance the customer experience.”
