Syringa Networks Signs Dark Fiber Deal with C7 Data Centers in Utah

West Valley City, Utah – Syringa Networks, a regional provider of high-speed fiber optic services, has signed a dark fiber deal with C7 Data Centers in Utah.  C7 is a privately held Utah company with independent colocation data centers in Salt Lake City, Bluffdale, and Lindon.

“The addition of Syringa Networks, as a communications provider, is significant to C7.  It positions our Bluffdale facility as the region’s prime data center for connectivity and low latency,” said Wes Swenson, CEO and President, C7 Data Centers. “We appreciate the opportunity to work with Syringa Networks and have our customers benefit from the company’s high performance communications infrastructure.”

The agreement allows C7 to provide any type of connectivity requirement their customers may have, and the ability to transfer nearly infinite bandwidth between two of their key data centers.

“This partnership between Syringa Networks and C7 is a win-win for both companies,” said Gabe Gomez, Syringa Networks General Manager for Utah operations.  “This dark fiber connectivity is a great complement to the value proposition C7’s state-of-the-art Bluffdale data center offers to its clients.  For Syringa Networks, it demonstrates our commitment to improving Utah’s telecommunication infrastructure where there is a demand for diverse high capacity fiber-based networks.”

Syringa Networks announced its dark fiber product offering and availability in Utah last month.  The offering is available with an Indefeasible Right of Use (IRU) agreement.  Syringa Networks limits availability of dark fiber to one customer per route segment.  Interested parties should contact Syringa Networks to learn more about specific routes and terms.
