Technology’s Role in Developing the Region’s Marketplace at Capacity Central America

NTT America’s business in Latin America expert to discuss emerging technologies in the region with other industry leaders

WHAT:

NTT America’s David Berrios will participate in a panel at Capacity Central America 2011 titled, “Spotlight on Existing and Emerging Services and Technologies: How Will These Shape the Future Development of the Central American Marketplace?” During his panel, Berrios will share insight on how emerging technologies and services are driving the Central American market forward. Topics include a discussion on the development of content-rich services, ensuring sufficient capacity and technology investment to maintain high quality service delivery and the evolution of fixed and mobile broadband services.

Now in its third year, Capacity Central America brings together more than 200 attendees from the Americas and Europe. The conference features panel debates looking at the future opportunities in the Central America market, fused together with numerous networking opportunities for telecommunications industry leaders in attendance.

In his role as director, business development, Latin America, Global IP Network, NTT America, David Berrios is responsible for NTT America’s overall market strategy for the Latin America and Caribbean regions, including direct and channel sales, network growth initiatives and strategic alliances.  Within NTT America, Berrios has held positions in the Global IP sales organization where he opened the Latin America market sales operations.  Prior to joining NTT America, he worked at MCI and Verizon.
