Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Selects XO Communications for Unified Communications and Network Solution

  • Comprehensive Solution Will Help Drive Seamless Collaboration and Communication

HERNDON, VA – August 1, 2011– XO Communications (OTCBB: XOHO) today announced that it has been awarded a five-year communications and network services contract from Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, the world’s largest breast cancer organization.

XO Communications will provide a fully managed unified communications and network solution covering voice, Internet access and private data networking capabilities and services for Komen for the Cure’s major offices. The comprehensive UC solution is based upon the Avaya IP Office platform and leverages the managed IP-PBX and MPLS wide area networking capabilities of XO iPBX and XO MPLS IP-VPN to better enable inter-organizational and external collaboration, productivity and communications.

The XO solution will help Komen employees benefit from improved productivity and workplace efficiency through enhanced presence information across various means of communication, improved communications with features such as click to call, single number reach, anywhere access to communications, and integration with the company’s desktop applications.
