Windstream introduces high-bandwidth Ethernet Internet in 11 new metro areas

Business customers can receive Internet speeds up to 1Gbps

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Windstream Corp. (NYSE:WIN, news, filings) is expanding its larger bandwidth Ethernet Internet offering to 11 new markets.

The new markets are Akron, Columbus and Dayton, Ohio; Indianapolis, Ind.; Wichita, Kan.; Tulsa and Oklahoma City, Okla.; Northwest Arkansas; Augusta, Ga.; Baton Rouge, La.; and Mobile, Ala.

With Windstream’s Ethernet offering, customers can get high bandwidth Internet speeds up to 1 Gbps.

With Ethernet Internet Access from Windstream, businesses have:

  • Symmetrical upload and download speeds
  • Dedicated connections
  • Improved reliability and performance

Windstream’s Ethernet Internet Access product provides businesses greater bandwidth at a lower cost per megabit than T1, Frame Relay or Private Line, ultimately allowing companies to reduce costs and increase business efficiencies.
