Level 3 Receives Five Awards in ATLANTIC-ACM’s Business Services Study

BROOMFIELD, Colo., June 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Level 3 Communications, Inc. (NYSE:LVLT, news, filings) today announced that it has received five awards in ATLANTIC-ACM’s 2011 North America Business Services Study. The awards recognize Level 3’s leadership in delivering voice and data services that meet the needs of enterprise customers.

The awards are based on the ATLANTIC-ACM Business Services Report Card, which compiles customer feedback via online surveys. The 2011 study included nearly 3,500 individual carrier reviews. Customers evaluate each carrier that they work with in a number of operational and service categories, rating voice and data services for quality, performance and value. Award categories are separated by CLEC (competitive local exchange carrier) and ILEC/IXC (incumbent local exchange carrier/inter-exchange carrier) providers. Level 3 won the five following best-in-class awards in the ILEC/IXC category:

  • Brand
  • Network Performance
  • Voice Quality
  • Voice Value
  • Data Value

“Level 3 has clearly been identified as a leader in enterprise network services among a broad collective of enterprise customers and peers,” said Fedor Smith, president of ATLANTIC-ACM. “The variety of categories for which Level 3 was recognized demonstrates their customers’ appreciation of Level 3’s ability to offer enterprises a comprehensive and first-rate service experience.”

“Level 3 is committed to providing the highest-quality network solutions for its enterprise customers, and we are honored that they have recognized us with these ATLANTIC-ACM awards,” said Jeff Storey, president and COO of Level 3. “Given the dynamic nature and challenges of a rapidly expanding global marketplace, Level 3 remains dedicated to supporting its enterprise customers as they leverage Level 3’s advanced network infrastructure and services to better facilitate their critical business objectives.”
