MegaPath Names Dan Foster President of Business Markets

SAN JOSE, Calif., April 18, 2011MegaPath Inc., one of the leading providers of managed data, voice, and security services in North America, today announced that it has named Dan Foster as President of Business Markets, reporting to the company’s CEO and Chairman, D. Craig Young.

“MegaPath has a huge market opportunity, delivering leading-edge Hosted Voice and fully-managed security and MPLS services to organizations of all sizes, and this requires a leader who understands the complexity of our customers’ communications requirements,” said Young. “Having worked with MegaPath’s customers for more than 10 years, Dan knows this market and what it takes to be successful.  His dedication to partners and end-users will significantly set MegaPath apart from other vendors in our space.”

Dan Foster previously served as MegaPath’s Senior Vice President of Sales, overseeing the company’s direct sales and partner initiatives until January 2011. In his new role as President of Business Markets, Foster is chartered with expanding the Company’s presence in the channel and key markets, including healthcare and retail. He will manage MegaPath’s enterprise and SMB sales, product development, product management, and marketing for Business Markets. Chris Gellos, who replaced Foster in his sales position, will continue as Senior Vice President Business Sales.
