Zayo Expands Fiber Network in Dallas, Brings Key Locations On-Net

LOUISVILLE, Colo.March 8, 2011 – Zayo, a provider of fiber-based bandwidth infrastructure and network-neutral colocation services, today announced the expansion of its fiber network in the Dallas metro area bringing 5 major carrier hotel and data center facilities onto their network and extending their footprint to 8 new Local Switching Offices.

Zayo will now be able to support dark or lit fiber connectivity to multiple enterprise and carrier providers in 2323 Bryan Street; 2020 Live Oak Street; 1950 Stemmons Freeway; 4316 Bryan Street; and 400 South Akard Street in Dallas, TX.  The company will also bring fiber connectivity to 8 new Local Switching Offices (LSOs) located throughout the Dallas metropolitan area, bringing their total route miles to eighty-four.
