FiberLight President Named to Strategic Advisory Committee

Kevin Coyne To Serve Two-Year Position on Telx Service Provider Advisory Committee

(ALPHARETTA) – FiberLight, LLC, announced today that President and COO Kevin B. Coyne has been named to the newly created Telx Service Provider Advisory Committee. Telx offers interconnection, colocation and business exchange services in strategic, high demand North American markets.

The new committee was created to provide insight into business, IT and networking requirements; provide direction for the future of Telx; and feedback for improvements to customer service and satisfaction, Telx officials said.

“Our goal as an organization is to achieve excellence in the way we meet the expectations of our customers and partners throughout our organization,” said Eric Shepcaro, Telx CEO. “Kevin has the business acumen and technical insight needed to be a great addition to this committee, which is committed to excellence through the development of success strategies to improve and promote our business.”

In addition to his most recent appointment, Mr. Coyne was re-elected to serve on the COMPTEL board of directors as well as on the board of the Georgia-Alabama Chapter of the National Kidney Foundation.

COMPTEL is a leading communications industry association representing service providers and suppliers through trade shows, networking, education and policy advocacy before Congress and the Federal Communications Commission.

The National Kidney Foundation is a voluntary health organization, which seeks to prevent kidney and urinary tract diseases through education and the improvement of the health and well-being of individuals affected while increasing available organs for transplant. Mr. Coyne will serve as the Chair for the Atlanta Kidney Walk in May at Turner Stadium in Atlanta.

“It is an honor to be named to the Telx advisory committee,” Mr. Coyne said. “As a carrier-neutral company, it is vital that we pave the way to service excellence across the board through participation in committees and forums that benefit the telecom industry as a whole.”

Kevin Coyne was named as FiberLight’s President and Chief Operating Officer in 2008. Mr. Coyne is recognized by FiberLight’s investors and the telecommunications industry as a thought leader for providing added value through growth of FiberLight’s substantial footprint, expansion of the company’s products and services and diversification of its client base to include high-bandwidth enterprise and government clients in addition to its existing role as a service provider for telecommunication companies. Mr. Coyne earned a Master of Science degree in Taxation at University of Baltimore and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at Towson State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
