Orange Business Services joins Cloud Security Alliance

promotes security best practices within cloud computing for global enterprises

Orange Business Services has joined the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) as a corporate member to lend its global expertise to promoting best practices for security within cloud computing.

As a corporate member of the alliance, Orange Business Services will participate in the solution provider advisory council by providing solution provider guidance into CSA strategic initiatives. The company will also participate in cloud computing education and research opportunities as well as awareness campaigns in order to facilitate a better understanding of cloud computing security threats and to explore best practices for cloud service providers and users. Orange Business Services will help define a cloud-oriented certification and contribute to the governance, risk management and compliance working group, specifically on the cloud audit theme. Orange Business Services will be active in the creation of the CSA Telecommunication Working Group and will cover topics such as implementation and interoperability, as well as a security certification scheme. In addition, Orange Business Services will contribute to the French chapter initiative.
