TelePacific Communications Hosting Open House to Celebrate Acquisition of O1 Communications’ Small-to-Medium Business

TelePacific Communications, the largest CLEC providing integrated voice and data telecommunications services to the small and medium-sized business (“SMB”) customer segment in California and Nevada, will host an Open House on November 17 to welcome customers and vendors of O1 Communications (O1) to the TelePacific family. TelePacific completed its acquisition of O1’s SMB customer base and associated network assets in October 2010.

The event will be held on Wednesday, November 17 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 1515 K Street in downtown Sacramento. Legacy O1 SMB customers and vendors are invited to attend and meet TelePacific’s leaders, including CEO and President Dick Jalkut. TelePacific employees who are former O1 staffers will also be there to welcome customers.

“We are looking forward to meeting the customers and vendors who helped O1 become such an outstanding telecommunications provider and successful business,” said Dick Jalkut. “We’re enthusiastic about welcoming these individuals to TelePacific and are looking forward to forming strong and long-lasting business relationships.”

At the Open House, TelePacific will be offering tours of the SAS 70 Type II certified data center acquired in the deal. The 18,500-square foot data center will allow TelePacific to offer additional managed services to existing and new customers. Appetizers and beverages will be served.

TelePacific announced its plans to acquire O1’s SMB customer base and related network assets in August. TelePacific gained approximately 1,000 business customers, as well as enhanced IP network assets in California, as a result of the deal.

TelePacific provides a variety of telecommunications services, including local, long distance, data networking, Internet access, integrated and other enhanced business services including mobile, managed security and business continuity, to SMB customers in California and Nevada. The addition of O1’s SMB customers reinforces TelePacific as the number one competitor to AT&T and Verizon for SMB customers within California.
