Transtelco announces its Expansion into three new Metropolitan Markets in Northern Mexico

El Paso, Texas, / Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, September 10, 2010 – Transtelco today announced that it is turning up new metropolitan fiber networks in 3 key cities of Northern Mexico consisting of Tijuana, Mexicali and Chihuahua. Construction has been on-going for the past 12 months and Transtelco plans to build approximately 150+ Kilometers of Fiber within each city in order to connect both Wholesale and Enterprise customers in all markets backs to its Core Network Backbone across the entire Southern United States and beyond. Each city already counts with its own US-Mexico Border crossing which will enable Transtelco to offer competitive solutions for Transport, IP Access, Voice, Collocation and Contend Delivery services. Transtelco can now offer new types of services over a significantly wider range of locations to much better serve end-users in Mexico and the USA. These new markets also enables US based service providers to efficiently reach businesses based in regions served by Transtelco.
