INTEGRA TELECOM AWARDS OAKS EDUCATION ASSOCIATION FREE INTERNET SERVICE FOR A YEAR

Local Telecom Provider Selects Nonprofit Winner of its Spokane Community Connection Campaign

SPOKANE, Wash., July 27, 2010 – Integra Telecom Inc., a voice and Internet services provider for business, has awarded Oaks Education Association of Spokane, Wash., free, high-speed T1 Internet service for a year through its Community Connection campaign.

Oaks Education Association was randomly selected through a drawing today at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Integra Telecom’s new Spokane sales office. Joe Shogan, city council president, drew the winning entry. Entries were submitted by local businesses and individuals who responded to the call to nominate their favorite nonprofit for the giveaway.

Also present at today’s gathering was Rich Hadley, president and CEO of Greater Spokane Incorporated. Hadley cut the ribbon during the ceremony, marking the official opening of Integra Telecom’s Spokane office at 201 W. North River Drive, Suite 380.

“We are so excited to celebrate Integra’s expansion into the Spokane market through today’s ribbon-cutting, lunch and nonprofit drawing. Community service is a pillar of Integra Telecom’s business model, and we are happy to award the Oaks Education Association free, high-speed T1 Internet service for a year,” said Dana Richardson, Spokane branch manager for Integra Telecom.

The Spokane Community Connection campaign is part of Integra Telecom’s Community Matters program, which supports initiatives and organizations that benefit the lives of people in the communities that Integra serves. Its focus areas are:

• Youth – health, education and the well being of the youth in the community.
• Health – wellness, safety and the eradication of disease.
• Community – improving the stability and quality of life in the community, particularly among low-to-moderate income individuals.
