Leading Managed Services Provider In The Middle East Chooses Sonus Networks For Providing Turnkey VoIP Interconnect and Subscriber Services

(NASDAQ:SONS, news, filings), providing network transformation through IP communications technology, today announced that Gateway Gulf, a leading provider of managed data network and internet exchange services in the Middle East, has chosen Sonus to deliver its core IP voice interconnectivity and CLASS 5 consumer and business VoIP services. This is the first major win for Sonus in the region. The Sonus solution will be deployed across the Middle East, starting with Bahrain.

In addition, the Sonus ASX feature server will be deployed to offer hosted CLASS 5 consumer and business features, and the entire solution will be managed by the Sonus Insight™ Element Management System.
